I have created 6 par 5 holes, 6 par 4 holes and 6 par 3’s with strategically placed hazards that ask a player to think about the shot but reach out to capture those occasional misguided shots. Each hole is to be respected but loved with the rewards given to those wanting to take on the challenge.

SIMON GIDMAN
Former President of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects
HAVING VISITED THE PROPOSED SITE OF THE CENTURION CLUB AS FAR BACK AS 2001, I WAS CERTAIN THIS LAND WAS SUITED FOR TRANSFORMATION INTO AN IMPRESSIVE GOLF COURSE.

However, as the recent years rolled by, it became clear the owners were re-evaluating their thinking and wanting to create something special. They needed a solution which would complement a daring, lifestyle driven membership – a golf course born of imagination, quality and with an immediate ‘must play’ reputation.

At over 6800 yards, this par 72 course is a perfect membership length with a scale of contouring that frames dramatic scenery in the recognised style of an inland links.
